okay i shall now talk about YESTERDAY.YESTERDAY = methodist staff get together. mghandbellchoir08 first's performance, my 1st performance as a 'sec4', 1st performance of someone being in charge.
haha honestly speaking, its a totally different story when you're the one in charge of a group of very bored people. okay fine, just basically in charge. somemore priscilla was perhaps not so happily off for her grade8 piano exam. thank God for the countless performances we had in 06, so routine was kinda familiar. yeah, but the highly unfamiliar part was this:
you see, i find this thinglike super weird. one person says there's a formal rehersal, another says don't have. then another one says suppose to be, but the microphone person not here yet? and amidst all these confusion, all our handbell teachers all pangsei us. and there was like no specific person in charge talking to everyone. & the choir was gone. that measn even ms tham was gone ): so like only some of the principals, ms tsien, string ensemble & us were in the hall. and everyone seemed to know what to do except us! therefore, we got VERY bored. because we already got practice from mrs aw at around 3 to about 430. yeah so i went off to find ms sim and while waiting for ms sim to come out of the staffroom, i kena yuanwang!
mrs chong who was going into the staffroom: WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN SCHOOL SO LATE HUH HUH HUH? AREN'T YOU SUPPOSE TO GO HOME HARRR?
before i could get anything in. but good thing just then ms sim came out so ya. (:
welll her coming didn't exactly helped. but what helped later was that ms tsien allowed us to go down eat dinner from 5 to 6pm. yay for the sec3s, cos we didn't have lunch :( ! sabbaticals. dinner was fine, sat with cherry, dewi, isabel, cherie & joanne. sec3s went raving about all our tests and whatsoever. there was this 'free ice cream' which kept into pieces for me! attempted to hide when lipin & joanne first appeared above the canteen hoho.
aft6, ms sim came up and we practiced somemore, this time with char & pris who weren't here earlier on. i think everyone felt super confident and all, cos it was really not bad. but unfortunately this wasn't the case later but oh wells. so anyway we turned into the bored choir again. prefects ran off to help the prefects with i have no idea what and then everyone else except priscilla cherry joy and i fell asleep with their heads on the mattress! maybe except for huiying who seemed to putting her head down to for the sake of putting it down. thus joy & i got the wonderful idea of getting a camera to take pictures of them sleeping! went to borrow ms tham's cam >) and started taking pictures of them hohoho. and one super unglam picture of priscilla! now i must remember to get ms tham to send the pictures to me :D
bored bored bored. people finally started coming in real slowly. mg teachers were the slowest. bet they were like either still eating or in the staffroom slacking :D yeah then our dear photographers came in and then we started demanding for lipin to take NICE pictures for us. so we started posing and all hahaha in front of all the people who were coming in hahahahaha!
service started, only worship was fun i guess :D we were singing that song, i can't remember the lyrics! and then we started doing actions :D

hahhahaa. and then somebody HAD to come up tot stage to take pictures of us singing. grahhh.
after that was kinda boring, until the prize giving part! where the teachers got their service awards thingy. seriously, i think the teachers were like just waiting for that part. and then it suddenly became the who-can-cheer-loudest-for-their-school-teachers competition. it was like from sit down-cheer to stand up-cheer thing! haha PL was good, but there's really a difference in mg and the rest! even the teachers SQUEALL. ahahahaha not like cheeeer. plus they had the support of the choir, string ensem and us :D so we cheered for for P6LAOSHI!:D 35years oh wow. our only prize winner. ACJC had a lott. yeah and then when they gave out the cheques from the walkathon, some principals were like.. literally running for the cheques? HAHAHAH. and this acsb & acsi the very moment they sat down they opened the envelopes -.-
oh & before our turn, like hymn part i think, this joanne & lipin was walking down the aisle side by side with this possibly evil grin. and priscilla and i were like wah they look like WEDDING! HAHHAA
& then our turn! oh my goodness its seriously the worst one when it comes to: NERVES. i was super nervous THROUGHOUT the whole thing! and apparently everyone too. we all agreed that it was worse compared to passione & syf! strange eh. ya but what made it worst, was that i could literally 5 cameras on me. and the worst! you'll never imagine. i swear that guy whom i don't know come from where! was standing in front of me for nearly, if not the whole piece just taking pictures of me! x(
i.was.very.very.DISTURBED
&, it was like 5 or so brilliant flashes at me at one go! super bright! everyone got super freaked out lah. and joy happilyt missed/played too soft some of her main notes blahhhh. and the microphones made the basss sound super loud esp for the plucking part o.O hahaha.
so overall i think our performance was decent, but we could have done better than that. though this is kinda good for a about less than a month practice. meaning about 8 practices? though we were much better during our earlier practice yest. but apparently we got a few compliments? so not bad my dear people. so qoute ms sim "now you just need to impress tharman!" hahaha yeah, we will yes?
but we need to learn how to smile more. esp that charmaine khoo and roxanne lai i think! hahahhaa.
other than that, good job from me to all of you (: at least our 1st performance wasn't so bad.
well, i still hate photographers now. i always do after a school based performance. but this is 5times worse. i just wonder where did he come from. and jieyi, stop cursing people!

oh dear i cut my hair! & i look super weird, terrible x( the woman so do not know the meaning of 'cut just a little bit' she cut a while lot! therefore, try not to look for me on monday, cos you won't find me. i'm unrecongisable! (sp?) sigggggggggh.
